Winter is acting crazy in Belgium. A week ago everything was covered in snow and temperatures had dropped below zero. Today the sun is shining and it’s 13 degrees celsius. The trees are even blossoming, that’s how confused nature is right now. What’s the weather like in your country?
Anyway, no matter what, it’s still officially Winter. Which means I should do more Winter themed posts. And that’s what I’m throwing at ya today! 🙂
Last weekend I went for breakfast at one of my best friend’s place. The petit déjeuner she made for us was super healthy, and I loved it! Especially the Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal. I fell in love at first bite. I’m having this for breakfast almost every morning now. Including today. I promise you are going to love it too if you like cinnamon.
Easy to make in five minutes, this is what you will need:
1,5 cup Oats
1 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 sliced apple
Combine the oats, almond milk and sliced apple in a saucepan. Let it boil, and stir until it starts binding. Then lower the heat and add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Keep stirring so all flavours can blend in. Serve in a bowl or on a plate, top off with slices of apple and a pinch of cinnamon.
Voila, this is how you make Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal. Easy, right?! 🙂
