I haven’t taken the time yet to wish you all a blessed Ramadan. So here I am wishing you all the best!
Definitely keep reading to find out about some hacks that will help you get the best out of this holy month. 🙂
Time between Iftar and Suhoor is short during the Summer months. We literally don’t have a lot of time to get food in our system. That’s why we should eat smart.
Eat healthy food that will give you the right amount of energy and nutrition. Stay away from greasy and fast sugar foods. Do not overeat on junk food, but choose your food wisely. Read “Superfoods: RAMADAN Edition!” for some tips on what to eat during Ramadan.
Drink lots of water.
Try to drink at least 1,5L water. Keep your body hydrated!
Write down your blessings.
We often take things for granted, while we have so many blessings to be grateful for. Ramadan is the perfect month to reflect on our blessings.
Think about opportunities that may have crossed your path, happy moments, all the amazing people in your life, … and simply write them down on a day-to-day basis. You will quickly find out that you are blessed in many ways.
If you’re ever having a hard time, focus on those blessings and you will cheer up in no time.
Spend time with family & friends.
It will not only make time go by faster, but also brings joy and happiness.
Keep a toothbrush with you at all times.
Ok. This is where we get really honest with each other. Not eating or drinking creates a very dry mouth. Brush your teeth on a regular basis to keep everything feeling nice and fresh.
Taking a walk after eating helps with digestion. I also feel like evenings create the most peaceful walks. A perfect time to reflect, unwind, and enjoy some fresh air.
What are your Ramadan habits? How do you get the most out of this amazing month? 🙂
